How to Volunteer
We greatly value our volunteers and offer an application process to find the best fit for your time. Please review the steps you need to complete before beginning your volunteer experience at CHS. Complete an application, provide personal references, fingerprinting and:
Volunteers must not have a criminal record that involves causing harm to children or any violent activity. A criminal record check is required prior to working with our children. A copy of your social security card will be needed for this process.
Volunteers working directly with the children must have a medical examination report completed by a qualified medical professional. This form will be provided to you to give to your doctor.
Volunteers seeking to be Guardian Angels need to go through the additional step of a one-on-one interview.
