Gift and Safety Guidelines

CHS helps a variety of children from birth to age 21 years. We appreciate your help to provide meaningful toys, games and activities that are suitable for our children.

We gratefully receive gently used items throughout the year...during the holiday season we respectfully ask that items to our "Holiday Wishes" program are new.

We respectfully ask that you:

• Please do not wrap gifts so that they may be carefully inspected for age appropriateness. You are welcome to provide the gift wrapping accessories.
• For health reasons, no stuffed animals. (New Battery-operated, animated or singing plush animals are permitted.)
• Provide non-toxic craft materials or painted items.
• Exclude items with small parts or sharp edges.
• Exclude movies or music containing violence or inappropriate language
• Exclude puzzles or games that require fine motor skills or hand-eye coordination.
