Respite CareWe strive to strengthen and support families raising a child with developmental disabilities through our respite care services. Our compassionate staff provides a nurturing, home setting for children with disabilities from birth to twenty-one years of age, 24 hours a day, and seven days a week. Respite Care Services at CHS are your child’s home away from home. We provide a center-based program and offer nursing and support staff at all times. We carefully evaluate each child’s specific health needs during our admissions process. Children may stay with us for periods that range from a few hours to two weeks, depending on the needs of the family. We offer outstanding flexibility to families and are available on short notice. You can depend on our staff to provide engaging activities throughout the year and a fun one week summer respite camp. We do our best to provide your child with a fun atmosphere, call us anytime if you would like to stop by for a tour. Respite Care Services are funded primarily through local government funding sources or the Department of Mental Health. Many of the recreational activities are provided through community support from grants, foundations, individuals, and corporations. For more information, please contact us at:
