Pregnancy CounselingOur staff supports birth parents in making decisions about parenthood in an environment of dignity, respect and sincerity. We believe that birthparents who contact us have shown strength, courage and love of child and self. We assume you are capable of making appropriate decisions about your child's future and using good judgment in determining what is best for all involved. Our staff supports you as you go through this important time in your life and our goal is to help you as best we can in assessing the option that is best for you. Through the counseling process, without pressure to make a particular decision, we explore various scenarios with you, and consider a series of questions together. You do not have to make your final decision before coming to see us and requesting pregnancy counseling does not in any way require you to make an adoption decision. Pregnancy counseling is always confidential and free of charge for birthparents. You do not need to handle this alone. Our pregnancy counseling services are always free and strictly confidential. Please feel free to send a confidential email to pregnancycounseling@chsmo.org or call us at 314.968.2350 x240 |
